About AAARF

AAARF's Mission:

To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless animals and educate the public about responsible pet guardianship.

AAARF works closely with our potential adopters to minimize returns and stress on the animals. In the rare case it is not a perfect match, we offer our adopters an unconditional Bring-Back policy.

AAARF's History:

AAARF was started in 1997 by three women brought together by their love and compassion for homeless pets and has since taken in and placed over 8,000 animals! AAARF operated a shelter in Auburn for over ten years but recently closed the shelter and returned to utilizing volunteer foster homes to house and care for animals. It is because of our volunteers that we are able to continue to take in homeless companion animals and find them loving and safe forever homes.
